Pub of The Season – Its The Grayston Unity

On Wednesday 30th August the Grayston Unity was awarded the award of Pub of The Season – Summer 2017. This award is presented to a pub that has shown consistency and quality in serving good real ale. It goes without saying that in order to win the pub must do more than that in delivering a good standard of service that makes the drinker return.

There is no doubt that the Grayston Unity has been a welcome addition to the pubs and bars in our branch, indeed, such is the standard nowadays that the award comes after a hotly contested debate.   The Branch feels sure that we have selected a worthy winner.

Presentation Of the Award

Richard Lee, branch Chair gave the award to Michael Ainsworth praising not only the beer quality but also its range and especially for such a small venue the promoting of live music and the recent addition of playing a whole vinyl album on a Sunday
